A Journey Rooted in Resilience, Passion, and Care

From soccer fields to surgical suites, Dr. Moghim’s journey embodies resilience, innovation, and a passion for transforming lives

Bobby’s journey began on the soccer fields, where his talent led to stints with the U.S. National Team and recognition as an elite American athlete. As one of the top recruits at Duke University, he thrived in an environment of intense competition, learning the value of both winning and the character-building lessons found in losing. These experiences shaped his dedication, instilling values of teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and hard work—principles that laid the groundwork for his future in medicine and entrepreneurship.

After transitioning from cleats to scrubs, Dr. Moghim channeled that same drive into his medical training. Balancing the demands of rigorous academics with his passion for making a difference, he developed a resilience that propelled him into the challenging field of pain management.

Today, Dr. Moghim is leading advancements in pain treatment. With a commitment to innovative approaches—both surgical and non-surgical—he is dedicated to improving the lives of patients suffering from chronic conditions. Whether designing cutting-edge treatment plans, championing patient-centered care, or mentoring future medical professionals, his mission remains steadfast: to transform lives, one patient at a time.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Moghim’s life is enriched by his roles as a devoted father and a passionate bass player. These personal passions bring balance and creativity to his life, fueling the same energy and focus he brings to his professional endeavors. A steadfast advocate for resilience and hope, he strives to inspire and support those around him. For Dr. Moghim, every patient’s journey is an opportunity to provide care and compassion, ensuring that no one faces their path to healing alone.

From Visionary Entrepreneur to Life-Changing Impact

In 2005, driven by a deep commitment to the underserved, Dr. Moghim founded Onyx M.D. to address critical gaps in healthcare. His unwavering focus on transforming lives led to the creation of Colorado Pain Care, where his mission to provide personalized, medication sparing care to chronic pain sufferers continues. Every step of Dr. Moghim’s journey has been rooted in a vision to not only bridge healthcare gaps but to change lives, offering hope and healing to those who need it most.

Beyond Medicine: A Passion for Music, Soccer, and Community

When he’s not caring for patients or advocating for healthcare policy, Dr. Moghim finds peace in his music or cheering from the sidelines as a youth soccer coach. It’s all part of staying balanced—and staying human.
